Sustainability

Memorias GRI reports

What is it?

Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a non-profit organization founded by the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Its main purpose is to promote the communication of sustainability factors in all types of organizations.

The GRI standard establishes a set of sustainability indicators that organizations can use to measure and report their economic, environmental and social performance. It is important to define the content of the report to decide what content to include, which involves taking into account the organization's activities and impacts, as well as the expectations and substantial interests of stakeholders.

The GRI framework has acquired special relevance as an articulating element of sustainability reports and Non-Financial Information Statements.

Who is it for?

GRI reports are intended for shareholders, investors, customers, employees, suppliers, business partners, civil society organizations, regulators and government agencies. These stakeholders use the information in GRI reports to assess a company's sustainable performance and make informed decisions.
