On March 7, OCA global participated in the Business Meeting: Sustainable Salamanca Tools and Opportunities, in the Santander Workcafé space on Toro Street in Salamanca. The event was attended by several companies and organizations such as the Green Office of the University of Salamanca, the Circular Economy Association, AESPEC, and the head of the Tourism Sustainability Plan of the Salamanca City Council.
At the event they exchanged views on the actions that, from each of their fields of action and always taking into account environmental and social sustainability, as well as governance and economic development, are being developed.
Patricia Gálvez, head of Business Development OCA Global in Castilla y León, and organizer of the event together with the Fundación General Universidad de Salamanca highlights that "This conference has highlighted the importance of partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of companies" given that many of the participants were already collaborating with each other in the promotion of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. "Telling what they are doing, as well as bringing rigor and transparency to these actions through certifications or verifications, allows consumers and users to value the efforts of companies.
