Welder qualification

The field of application of this qualification also includes the qualification of welded joints in metallic materials of welding operators. Usually, the homologation is carried out before the start of the welding works, and there must previously be an approved welding procedure to prove the skill of the operator in accordance with the design codes. In each of the inspections, the decision of whether the inspection will be carried out by a non-destructive test laboratory is voluntary, as the specifications are included in the design codes used. These verifications are carried out in order to verify compliance with the essential safety and health requirements in boiler and structural constructions.
