Refrigeration facilities

The scope of action by which this regulation – about the safety of refrigeration facilities and its complementary technical instructions (IF) – and its IT are approved are the new construction refrigeration facilities, as well as their extensions, modifications, and the maintenance of these and of the existing ones.

However, to the refrigeration systems and facilities, as well as to the systems listed below, we must exclusively apply the provisions in article 21 of the refrigeration facilities regulation:

• Absorption facilities that use BrLi-Water.
• Non-compact refrigeration systems with a load of less than 2.5 kg of refrigerant of the group L1 0,5 kg, of refrigerant of group L2 0,2 kg, and of refrigerant of the group L3 3.
