What is it?
The standard UNE-EN 15017:2006 is a management tool for funeral services companies and cemeteries focused on the quality of the service and respect that these particular situations demand.
The application of the standard implies a review of the integrity of all the processes carried out: treatment received by the deceased, hygienic measures, transfer and transport of the deceased, counselling services to relatives, provisions for burial or incineration, disposition, and characteristics of the facilities and staff of the funeral home. All this without leaving aside issues of ethical and moral character, making a series of recommendations in this regard, and ensuring compliance with all provisions and legal requirements in force.
