OCA Global's Consulting and Technical Advisory division provides support TÜRKAK ( Turkish Accreditation Agency) in the organization and development of the World Accreditation Day (WAD) held in Ankara on November 24-25, 2021.
TÜRKAK Secretary General Banu Müderrisoĝlu and OCA Global Project Manager Fabiana Silva delivered the opening speeches and welcomed the speakers and seminar participants.
Established by the ILAC y el IAF as a global initiative to promote the value of accreditation, WAD2021 has focused on its use in supporting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of United Nations. It gives ILAC and IAF members the opportunity to share with authorities, regulators and consumers examples of: how accreditation can be applied to increase trade, how to solve environmental, health and safety problems, and how to improve the overall quality of production in an economy.
Thus, our team of Consulting and Technical Advisory Services is leading the implementation of the project financed by the European Union (UE) which aims to increase TÜRKAK's technical capacity, both in the EU and internationally, to improve product safety and free movement.
