Last February, the Consulting and Technical Advisory division (OCA Global CTA) absorbed the company Instituto de la Calidad - part of OCA Global - as part of the integration of the latter into the group following its acquisition in July 2021 by OCA Global Investments, the holding company of the OCA Global group.
The merger of the two companies aims to simplify the administrative structure of our Consulting and Technical Advisory division, allowing synergies between both teams and thus obtaining an improvement in our technical capacity, a broadening of our service offering and a more complete and integrated geographic coverage. OCA Global CTA will retain all employees, the same management team and the same assets as the Quality Institute.
This merger is part of the division's growth strategy and will allow us to strengthen our presence in emerging markets by supporting their sustainable economic development in different economic areas such as Customs and Trade Facilitation, Quality Infrastructure, SME Competitiveness Development and Sanitary and Phytosanitary Controls.
In addition, the merger will also strengthen and expand the existing portfolio of multilateral donors with which OCA Global CTA currently works, such as the Unión Europea, el Banco Mundial, el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, el Banco Asiático de Desarrollo, as well as other multilateral organizations.
