Bit2Me achieves ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management Systems, audited by OCA Global.

28.11.2022

OCA Global has delivered the certificate obtained in the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 Standard for Information Security Management Systems, to the technology company Bit2Me.

With this certificate, the first company in the world to be recognized by the Bank of Spain as a virtual currency service provider, can demonstrate to its customers, partners and society in general that it puts all available means in place to avoid compromising the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information, as well as the systems that process it. This certification is of extraordinary value in an industry where the protection of managed data is of vital importance.

At the ceremony, the effort made by the entire Bit2Me team to achieve this milestone was highlighted. Washington Gómez (Bit2Me's CISO) and Jorge García (IT Security, Risk & Compliance Officer) attended the certificate ceremony on behalf of the technology company. OCA Global was represented by Jaime Forment (Operations Director) and Carmen Vico (Valencian Community Delegate), both from the Certification Division.
