OCA Global has been awarded the contract for noise and analysis services at Chamartín station in Madrid. The work will be carried out by taking samples at multiple points and collectors of the station and their subsequent analysis, as well as the recording of immission levels in the station.
Chamartín station was built to connect Atocha station and the rail links to the north of Spain. The station was originally located in a different location from the current one further south of Madrid, being built later in its current location on the old cemetery of the village of Chamartín de la Rosa. It was put into operation in 1967, absorbing all the traffic from the Príncipe Pío station, thus eliminating all long-distance traffic from it. In the years 1970 to 1975 it was renovated with the commercial and leisure areas that it currently has.
