Within the framework of Madrid Fusión, the international gastronomy congress, the IV Aquanaria Madrid Fusión Sustainability Award was held, an event that highlighted the commitment to the environment and culinary excellence. The company Aquanaria, recognized for its work in the breeding and marketing of sustainable Atlantic Seabass, presented an award that reaffirms its leadership in promoting responsible practices in the gastronomic industry.
Verónica Sanz Izquierdo, head of Sustainability and ESG in OCA Global's Certification division, was part of the jury.
The main prize was awarded to chef María José Martínez of Rte. Lienzo in Valencia, who stood out for her work in the dissemination and protection of bee pollination, as well as in the promotion of organic products in the Valencian Community.
With the success of this edition, the next edition of the V Aquanaria Madrid Fusión Sustainability Award will be held, reiterating the commitment to sustainability and innovation in gastronomy.
