OCA Global certifies the Port Authority of Castellón in the National Security Scheme (ENS), in which it has obtained the Medium category. Specifically, a formal audit has been carried out on a regular basis to verify compliance with the requirements of the ENS. The Port Authority will have to undergo an evaluation every two years, which guarantees the excellence of the service.
The ENS is conceived by the CCN-CERT, a national agency under the CNI (National Intelligence Center), to be in charge of creating a set of regulations to maintain the necessary security conditions in the use of electronic media by means of measures which guarantee the security of the systems, data, communications and electronic services.
PortCastelló thus becomes the second Port Authority to receive this certificate, which guarantees minimum security conditions for citizens and private companies in their dealings with the APC. In addition, it places the Port Authority as a reference within the state system in terms of cybersecurity, initiating a new stage of review and adaptation to the new ENS (RD 311/2022).
