Occupational Health and Safety in the Goya Project

19.10.2022

Prevention technicians from OCA Global formed part, during 2020 and 2021, within the framework of a contract with GE Wind Energy, of the work team of the Goya Project, which with the support of the Investment Plan for Europe, commissioned nine wind farms totaling 300 MW.

Specifically, OCA Global technicians worked at the Daroca and Belchite wind farm facilities, acting as preventive resources in the assembly and commissioning of the windmills, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols in the different work at heights, assembly and disassembly of cranes, various electrical works, as well as in travel around the farms, which cover an area of more than 60 km.

Likewise, the team, made up of technicians with specific GWO (Global Wind Organisation) training, took the necessary measurements of wind and light conditions to ensure safety during the work.
