MERCAVALÈNCIA, first entity audited by OCA Global to verify its social commitment and register in the SIR Register.

On June 8, the ceremony of delivery of the certificate of overcoming the Verification of the Social Responsibility Report of Mercavalència for the year 2022 was held in accordance with the requirements that regulate social responsibility in the entities of the Valencian Community.

From OCA Global we want to congratulate Mercavalència for the effort it makes every day to be a pioneer, exemplary and committed to the city of Valencia. The verification of the Social Responsibility Report is the culmination of the great work of the different teams that make up the entity and seek to bring the maximum benefit to society.

After passing this audit, Mercavalència may apply to the Department of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor of the Generalitat Valenciana for inclusion in the SIR Register of socially responsible Valencian entities. This registry was created with the aim of publicizing and informing the public about the socially responsible nature of the entities registered in it.

The certificate was presented to Pep Yubero (Managing Director of Mercavalència), who, accompanied by those responsible for the entity, confirmed the commitment to society and indicated the increase in sustainability as the goal for the coming years. On behalf of OCA Global, Jaime Forment (Operations Director), Ana Sánchez (Delegate of Valencia) and Eva Núñez (Business Developer) made the presentation.

We encourage Mercavalència to continue with the roadmap set and to continue moving forward in an effective and efficient manner, valuing the efforts of the entire team through verification by independent entities.
