"If you don't pass, PÁSALA", AECA-ITV interviews Javier Santana

18.05.2022

The Spanish Association of Collaborating Entities of the Administration in the Technical Inspection of Vehicles (AECA-ITV) has interviewed Javier Santana, director of the ITV Division of OCA Global, about the campaign 'If you don't pass, PÁSALA' (If you don't pass, PÁSALA).

AECA-ITV has launched a campaign against absenteeism, one of the main challenges currently facing the sector. The campaign 'Si no pasas, PÁSALA' has been a very good initiative that has allowed to reach a lot of people in a quick way.

Several initiatives have been implemented at OCA ITV:

Design of a program of warnings to customers with expired or about to expire inspections. During the inspection process, inspectors explain to the client what the test consists of and what it is for. At the time of delivery of the report, especially if the result is unfavorable, a detailed explanation of the reasons is given, highlighting the risks of driving the inspected vehicle. Blog on the web with news and information of interest on road safety.

In addition, in recent years the sector has made many efforts to streamline procedures, so that OCA ITV is investing a lot of resources in:

Digitalization of processes to improve the user experience. Constant training of workers to improve their soft and hard skills and, consequently, to make a qualitative leap in the quality of service. Investment in new inspection facilities and equipment.
