OCA Global Colombia participates in the XIX National Infrastructure Congress

OCA Global Colombia participated, together with the Spanish delegation, in the XIX National Infrastructure Congress, held in the city of Cartagena from November 23 to 25.

During the meeting, the team was able to learn about the policy sheet in relation to the infrastructure sector for the next four years, where different representatives of the industry, including the Country Manager of OCA Global Colombia, Mauricio Rincón, and the Business Development Manager, Néstor Orlando Rodríguez Morales, expressed their proposals for the development of each of the projects.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro; representatives of the portfolios of Transportation, Environment, Housing, Finance and National Planning; the former President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, as well as the former President of Spain, Felipe González.

Among the business leaders, the presidents of Odinsa, Isa, Corficolombiana, Concesionaria Metro Línea 1, Concesionaria Férrea de Occidente Bancolombia, Grupo Aval, Davivienda, Bolsa de Valores de Colombia and Ecopetrol participated as panelists.

They mentioned the importance of the development of intermodal transportation infrastructure, the commitment of the sector's entrepreneurs to social and environmental sustainability, the presence of the infrastructure sector in other sectors of the economy, such as tourism, the relevance of engineering SMEs in the economy, the need to build tertiary roads, and the proposal to develop social infrastructure with the experience of the sector's companies.
