OCA Global to support Regional Economic Integration in Central America in the INTEC project

OCA Global has begun implementing a four-year project in the area of economic integration and trade facilitation. In consortium with The British Standards Institution (BSI) and SGS, OCA Global will support the Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA) in its objective to facilitate trade and trade capacities in the region.

The project, financed by the European Commission, will support trade in the Central American region through three main components: the modernization of the regional regulatory framework; the development of a digital trade platform; and capacity building for trade in goods and services in the region. It will also promote the use of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Central America.

OCA Global will provide its expertise in the area of economic integration and trade facilitation as well as its knowledge of European Union trade regulation and practices in this technical assistance to be carried out in Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
